Bellerophon : Graph analysis for improved EST clustering

Bellerophon is a set of Perl modules and application scripts that aims to improve the quality of EST clusters. Graph theory algorithms are applied to pairwise alignments to pinpoint putative chimeric ESTs, that is cutvertices of the alignement graph; theses putative chimeras are then studied individually at the sequence level to find evidences of their chimeric origin: restriction sites, polyA, low complexity. . . Perl modules are fully documented and provide a full set of functions that can be used to easily write custom application programs.
